Fare Categories, Reschedule And Cancellation Policies

A. Fare Category

1. USD Fare         Foreign nationals other than Indian/Nepali are entitled for USD fare.

2. NPR Fare         Nepalese/Indian nationals are entitled for NPR fare.

3. NRN Fare

Non-residential nepalese are entitled to all available NPR fare categories. The passenger must present the valid NRN card issued by Nepal Government to avail the same. However, if the passenger fails to submit the NRN card, they will be considered foreign passenger and will be charged USD fare.

4. NRI Fare

The USD fare is applicable to Non-Resident Indians.

5. Residential Fare        

Passenger with diplomat/concerned organization ID card & staying in Nepal for more than 06 months is accepted as residential passenger and they are entitled for Super-flexi fare (Fare code N)        

6. Refugee Fare

The nationality of a refugee passenger will be determined by the country that has issued their refugee card, and a fare will be charged in accordance with their identification.

B. Cancellation, Reschedule & Baggage Policy in USD fare.

1. Super Flexi (N Fare)

  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to 12 hrs prior to flight time, 10% cancellation charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to 1 hour prior to the flight time, 33.33% charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel or reschedule the ticket within check-in hour, the request shall not be considered and the ticket will be marked as No Show (i.e. no refund)
  • The reschedule can be done without charge up to 1 hour prior to the flight time.
  • Free baggage allowance limit (30 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry)

2. Flexi (Y Fare)

  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to 12 hrs prior to flight time, 10% cancellation charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to 1 hour prior to the flight time, 33.33% charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel or reschedule the ticket within check-in hour, the request shall not be considered and the ticket will be marked as No Show (i.e. no refund)
  • The reschedule can be done without charge up to 1 hour prior to the flight time. However, if the same fare category is not available, the passenger has to pay the difference amount of available higher fare.
  • Free baggage allowance limit (25 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry)

3. Flexi (G Fare)

  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to  12 hrs prior to flight time, 50% cancellation charge is applicable on the total fare (fare+fsc)
  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket within check-in hour, the request shall not be considered and the ticket will be marked as No Show (i.e no refund)
  • The reschedule can be done up to 1 hour prior to the flight time by paying the reschedule fee $ 10 + difference fare if the same fare category is not available.
  • Free baggage allowance limit (20 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry)
  • This fare is same for Adult, Child & Differently able travellers.

4. Child Discount & Baggage Policy

  • A child discount of 33.33 % is applies only on Super-Flexi (N) and Flexi (Y) fare.
  • A child discount is not applicable on the Everest Sight Seeing Flight.
  • The free baggage allowance limit is (20 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry) in all fare categories.

C.   Cancellation, Reschedule & Baggage Policy in NPR fare.

1. Super Flexi (N Fare)

  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to 12 hrs prior to the flight time, 10% cancellation charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to 1 hour prior to the flight time, 33.33% charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel or reschedule the ticket within check-in hour, the request shall not be considered and the ticket will be marked as No Show (i.e. no refund)
  • The reschedule can be done without charge up to 1 hour prior to the flight time.
  • The free baggage allowance limit is (25 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry) except in Janakpur/Simara where only 20 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry is allowed.

2. Flexi (Y Fare)

  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket  up to12 hrs prior to flight time, 33.33% cancellation charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket up to 1 hour prior to the the departure time, 50% charge is applicable on the base fare.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel or reschedule the ticket within check-in hour, request shall not be considered and the ticket will be marked as No Show ( i.e no refund )
  • The reschedule can be done without charge up to 1 hour prior to the flight time. However, if the same fare category is not available, the passenger has to pay the difference amount of available higher fare.
  • The free baggage allowance limit is (20 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry)
  • This fare remains the same for Adult, Child, Differently able and Senior citizen.

3. Flexi – (G Fare)

  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket 12 hrs prior to flight time, only Fuel Surcharge & Airport Tax will be refunded.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket same day upon the flight date, only airport tax will be refunded.
  • If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket within check-in hour, the request shall not be considered and the ticket will be marked as No Show (i.e. no refund)
  • The reschedule can be done without charge up to 1 hour prior to the flight time. However, if the same fare category is not available, the passenger has to pay the difference amount of available higher fare.
  • The free baggage allowance limit is (20 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry)
  • This fare remains the same for Adult, Child, Differently Able and Senior citizen.

4. Saver (F Fare, S Fare, H Fare, E Fare)

  • The above fare classes are not eligible for refund. If the passenger requests to cancel the ticket issued under above fare categories, only the airport tax will be refunded.
  • If the passenger requests to reschedule the above fare ticket within check-in hour the request shall not be considered and the ticket will be marked as No Show ( i.e no refund)
  • The reschedule can be done up to 1 hour prior to the flight time by paying the rescheduling fee Rs 300 plus the difference fare if the same fare category is not available
  • The free baggage allowance limit is (20 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry)
  • The above fare remains the same for Adult, Child, Differently Able and Senior Citizen.

5. Child Discount/Baggage Policy (Below 12 yrs.)

  • A child discount of 33.33 % is applies only on Super-Flexi (N) fare.
  • A child discount is not applicable on the Everest Sight Seeing Flight.
  • Non-refundable fares are same for both the adult and child travellers.
  • Cancellation, Refund & Reschedule policies will be similar to Normal Fare and Non-refundable policies
  • The free baggage allowance limit is (20 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry) in all fare categories.
  • The child passenger must submit the valid ID card.

6. Infant Fare (Below 2 yrs.)

  • Only 10% of the Super-Flexi N fare needs to be paid at the airport.
  • Physical verification shall be performed to categorize or identify minors as infants or children at the time of acceptance.

D. Senior Citizen Discount 

  • Only Nepalese citizens are eligible for a 50% discount on the Super Flexi ( N fare ). The ticket must be purchased at any of our sales office, and the senior citizenship card must be presented at the time of purchase.

E. Differently Abled Passenger Discount

Only Nepalese nationals get a 50% discount on the Super Flexi- (N fare).  A disability identification card must be presented at any of our sales offices in order to obtain the discount.

F. Promotional Fare

  • Non-refundable, not allowed for name and date change.
  • Free baggage allowance limit 15 kg (10 kg baggage + 05 kg hand carry)

G. Name Change Facility

  • The passenger's name can be changed up to two hours prior to the departure time. NEP/IND nationals are required to pay Rs. 1000/- whereas foreign nationals are required to pay USD 15.

H. Cancellation Submission Request  

  • Passenger must submit the cancellation request up to 1 hours prior to departure otherwise, the request shall not be considered.

I. If the Airline Cancels the Ticket.

  • Passengers will receive a full refund in all fare categories if the airline fails to fulfill its commitment and cancels the reservation.

J. Refund Duration - Online Purchase  

  • Purchased via VISA/MASTER/DEBIT card: 10-12 working days
  • Purchased via ESEWA/KHALTI/IME: 2-3 working days.
  • Purchased via ConnectIPS: 5 working days
  • Any refund request for an online purchase should be addressed to ecommerce@yetiairlines.com

K. Refund Duration- Purchased Via Travel Agencies

  • Refunds will be processed within 1-2 working days. To claim the refund, the passenger must contact the relevant agency.

L. “NO Show” Ticket

  • The ticket shall be considered as "No Show" (No refund / No valid) if the passenger fails to report at the airport.

Note:

  • All eligible refunds will be provided in equivalent to local currency.
  • The refund of the tickets purchased via yeti mobile app/website, will be credited back into the same account.
  • We do not refund the charges associated with name, date, and time changes.
  • If the passenger wishes to cancel a ticket that has already been rescheduled, the initial fare category policy will apply during the refund process.
  • If the higher-class ticket will be rescheduled into the lower fare category upon customer’s requirement, the difference amount shall not be refunded.
