
Yeti Airlines has started "Green Farwest Project" under its CSR program in partnership with their general sales agent in Dhangadi - Raaika Travels. The airlines will be contributing Rs. 20 from the sale of every one way ticket and Rs. 40 from the sale of every two way ticket in the Kathmandu - Dhangadi - Kathmandu route to the community forest of Dhangadi, Raipur, Doti and Kanchanpur. The airline has targets of planting 10000 trees in in one year.

We have launched the Green Far west Project on 09-JUL-2010 at Dhangadi. We have planted almost 600 trees on this day.
We had an honorable presence of CDO of Kailali District Mr. Narayan Prasad Bidari. And also the Head of the Police and the Army chief of the Kailali district were present during the ceremony.
Certain INGO's like - Save the Children, F- Skill, Elam Plus,Helvetas and Human right people also attended the ceremony.
All the political heads of the Kailali district were also present and attended the plantation program.
And the program was successfully organized.
